FAIRFIELD, Calif. - July 1, 2014 - PRLog -- Want your short fiction, nonfiction or poetry published?  The Writers Resource Center (WRC) is putting together a collection of works from local, regional and national authors that will be published as part of the group’s first anthology.  Writers are invited and encouraged to submit their manuscripts by the July 31st deadline.  Submission fees are $20 per selected work for members and $30 for non-members.

Individual authors may submit up to three manuscripts.  All must be typewritten, checked for spelling and grammar and properly formatted (double spaced with one-inch margins, page numbers, and the writer’s name and title of work at the top of page; poetry limited to five stanzas).  All genres are permitted with the exception of children’s books. Entries must be emailed as attachments to chair of the group’s anthology committee Wanda Campbell at wbcampbell@prodigy.net.  For more information on entry guidelines and how the review and selection process will work, please call 877-629-7369 or 510-334-2854 or visit www.writersresourcecenter.net  and look for the anthology flyer.

"We’re excited about this project and know that there are writers out there who want to participate," says Janie P. Bess, president and founder of WRC.  “So we are doing as much outreach as we can to make sure that they hear about this opportunity.”

The book, titled “A Writer’s Passion,” is part of the group’s 10th anniversary celebration and will be published later this year during the holiday season.
