Healthy Living Magazine July 2014
The Guilt-Free Path to a Healthier, Wealthier Lifestyle for your Family
A wonderful response encouraged them to keep rolling with it and the third issue has just been published.
Jodie is a consultant for Neal's Yard - an established natural product company based in the UK and is busy sharing her knowledge of the products we buy off the shelves that we 'believe' to be the healthy solution. Not always the case. Did you know that factor 30 suncreams will only protect your skin 2% more than a factor 15?
Linda is a professional writer and has published many books, the first of which -'Grow Your own Pharmacy' was released by Findhorn Press back in 2007.
This is what the Healthy Living team have to say about today's way of life....
"We believe most people would like to live a healthy, wealthy and happy lifestyle. There is an abundance of information available to help live the life of your dreams. However, many of us get overwhelmed by the teachings that almost 'insist' we become perfect in our attempts to follow our dreams.
Although there is something for everyone locked inside the pages, the magazine we have created is designed to mainly help young families take baby steps to improve their lifestyle in whatever way suits them at this moment in time.
We steer clear of the guilt and negative feelings attached to not being able to live the 'perfect' lifestyle right now, by sharing glimpses of self-development programmes, ways to have natural medicinal cures at your fingertips and even growing a few vegetables whether you have access to a garden or not. And every month, we publish a healthy recipe or two that doesn't require a cordon bleu qualification to enjoy.
We also share creative recycling ideas that encourage readers to recycle discarded items into practical and beautiful additions for the home and family.
Because we understand, through personal experience, the stresses and strains of bringing up children and struggling to make ends meet every month, we love to share a few fun quotes and anecdotes that help parents feel they are not alone."
For now, the magazine is free for readers, who can subscribe if they wish, and can be found here:
