Monday Scholars at the Oliver Wolcott Library with Dr. Scott Plous
This engaging online course about social psychology will cover a range of topics each week from decision making to health and well being. Mondays at the Oliver Wolcott Library from July 21- September 8 at 12:30- 2:00 p.m.
Scott Plous holds a Ph.D in psychology from Stanford University and teaches introductory and advanced courses in social psychology at Wesleyan University. His research interests focus on prejudice, decision making, information technology, and ethical issues surrounding the use of animals.
Professor Plous is the recipient of the American Psychological Foundation’s Award for Distinguished Teaching and has been named “Connecticut Professor of the Year” by the Carnegie Foundation and Council for Advancement and Support of Education. Currently, Plous serves as Executive Director of Social Psychology Network (SocialPsychology.org)
