DOGPAW Presents Bark in the Park, August 2

Proceeds from canine carnival to support DOGPAW’s off-leash dog parks

VANCOUVER, Wash. - July 1, 2014 - PRLog -- Dog Owners Group for Park Access in Washington (DOGPAW), announced today it is hosting Bark in the Park, a canine carnival for dogs and their owners, to support its off-leash dog parks on August 2, 2014.

“DOGPAW is so thrilled to be able to host this event,” said DOGPAW President, Cindy Franke. “All proceeds support DOGPAW off-leash dog parks, which are entirely supported by membership and fundraising activities.”

This fundraising event promises to be fun for dogs and owners alike with carnival games, vendors, demos and more.

Live music will be performed by Mother Joseph’s Academy Players and food will be available from Tacos n’ Cream.

Activities will include:
- Doggie Derby
- Doggie Bowling
- Dog and Owner Egg Walk
- 2nd Annual K-9 Pageant ($5 entry fee) with costume contest, talent show and Q&A

What: Bark in the Park Canine Carnival

- Live Music by Mother Joseph’s Academy Players
- Games, vendors, demos and more!

When: August 2, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Where: Ross Off-Leash Dog Park, NE Ross St. and 15th Avenue
- Entrance and parking on 15th Avenue

Cost: Admission is FREE!

Please bring a bag/can of pet food to donate to Second Chance Companions’ Animeals Program
