UK’s first elearning cohort to explore competitive advantages of crowd sourcing

Crowd sourcing entrepreneur to share insights at cohort event for freelance and independent elearning professionals.

WOKINGHAM, U.K. - June 29, 2014 - PRLog -- mylearningworx, the UK’s first crowd sourced hub for online learning, will welcome elearning industry veteran, Neill McWilliams at its cohort event in London on 9July 2014. His session will reveal how crowd sourcing is transforming the world of small business.

The cohort is designed to bring more collaborative elearning solutions to the freelance community. It is an initiative that will enable independent providers such as project managers, instructional designers and developers to offer new services and access new opportunities through mylearningworx’s crowd sourcing approach.

Attendees will benefit from McWilliams’ first-hand experience in both elearning and his more recent ventures in crowd sourcing business ideas, support and funding through mymarvellousbusinessidea.

He comments, ‘The use of crowd sourcing is now shaping the future of small businesses. It can offer significant competitive advantages for those that embrace it. But what this all means in reality and how to actually get on board and reap the benefits of working collaboratively can be unclear. My session will explore some of these challenges and provide insights on the potential for crowd sourcing within elearning.’

The cohort is open to freelancers and small businesses involved in providing services across all areas of elearning, including instructional design, script writing, graphic design, content authoring, development, project management and strategy.

It is a free event from 10.30am – 2.30pm on Wednesday 9 July 2014 in Covent Garden in London. Further details can be found on the mylearningworx blog: http://blog.mylearningworx.com/index.php/be-a-part-of-the-elearning-crowd/
