RI After School Martial Arts - Mastery Martial Arts

There are various after school programs for children, but few of them actually teach them valuable skills that will be useful for the rest of their lives.  Additionally, it is rare to find a program that actually provides transportation and pickup for kids to be transported from school directly to a facility.  Mastery Martial Arts offers an A+ after school program in which children will be transported directly to the facility to practice martial arts.  The program is available to preteens and above.

Mastery Martial Arts’ building contains activity rooms with workspace and storage for each student.  Each member has access to board games, arts and crafts, books, and more.  The facilities are lined with matted floors to protect while playing and moving around.  Before and after classes, there are indoor games, sports, and team building exercises.

Each day at the program, students participate in a martial arts class that is led by a professional black belt instructor.  Students set goals, train to achieve them and experience constant improvement.  Martial arts improve physical fitness and concentration skills, as well as self-defense.

There are six different locations across Rhode Island, including Smithfield, Johnston, North Smithfield, Cranston, Cumberland, and East Greenwhich.  The schools are on a mission to help their students to develop a “stronger sense of self” in order to achieve great things.
