About the Author: Kitty Kevan lives in the English countryside with her children, ponies, tortoises, and many other four-leggeds. She rescued her first tortoise from becoming soup at the age of four, while staying in a remote part of Southern France. She went tortoise hunting and learned a lot about these animals by watching them in the wild.
