LOA Marketing Gains Valuable Experience at Dallas Quarterly Conference
BOUNTIFUL, UT – LOA Marketing recently sent its top executives to a national leadership conference in Dallas, Texas. They brought back helpful new information as well as inspiring lessons that will guide them as they continue to grow as a team.
Among the many facets of the conference, Rachel highlighted three areas that were of particular value to LOA Marketing. First, they learned how to structure morning meetings to make them more informative and motivational. “Morning atmosphere gets my team motivated and excited for the day,” Rachel said. “This is something that is key to them continuously delivering top-quality service to our clients.”
Later, they learned effective habits from top-performing leaders; an educational experience Rachel expects will pay immediate dividends. Finally, a seminar on the opportunities for young people entering the business was especially helpful. “It helps us all as a team, because we learned interviewing techniques and how to help new arrivals become assets for the company.”

Rachel explained that one of the deciding factors in determining who would join her in Dallas for the national conference was the idea of validating the hard work put in by her team leaders. She said that a leadership conference was an ideal way to give them a valuable experience while also inspiring other team members within the company. “The people who went on this trip earned it by consistently being top performers in the office and by setting the tone by going above and beyond every day,” Rachel said. “I think it sets a great example for our newer team members, to show them that hard work really pays off because you are rewarded with this trip and learning experience. I know that there are already a lot of people excited to join me next time.”
Although the team learned many important lessons during their time in Dallas, one of the most important elements of the conference was the opportunity for executives to network with other industry leaders. Each member of the team met with top-performing representatives and managers, and they were able to build a stronger professional network while learning essential skills from some of the most respected names in the country. This was an experience that will have lasting effects, Rachel said. “Being able to share ideas and brainstorm with others who encounter the same problems and challenges as you do is a fantastic feeling,” she said. “You really walk away with so much knowledge.”

The conference has already influenced day-to-day operations, Rachel said, and she expects the company to improve dramatically within the next few months. “Since we have been back, we reference these topics every day,” she said. “We have a leader teach a topic to the rest of the team twice a week. It’s a great way to stay up-to-date, ahead of the competition, and excited about our work.”
