Tentec Training Takes Bolt Integrity Training to the Middle East
Tentec Training travel worldwide to provide training and competence assurance programmes in the assembly and tightening of bolted connections.
Recently, Training Manager, Glenn Dixon travelled to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates to train personnel from Tentec’s distributor Euro Mechanical. As its equipment is used in a range of different industries including petrochemical, offshore and the wind energy markets and the integrity of the joints and flanges is vital for safety and functional purposes, Tentec advises that only trained personnel operate the tools. Therefore, Euro Mechanical operatives participated in a 7 day training course comprising both theory and practical sessions.
“It is extremely important that all operatives are trained in both the theory and practice of bolt integrity.” explains Glenn. “We provided training over 7 days in groups of 4, so everyone could have my individual attention and benefit from my extensive experience in the field, especially offshore.”
Information on the training and competence assurance programmes offered by Tentec Training is now available either as a full-colour printed brochure, or downloadable from the website at http://www.tentec.net/
