Roces, a native of the Philippines, received her bachelors degree in Screenwriting from Boston University. After spending several years working in photo editing and research, Roces rekindled her long-time love of children’s literature by settling into a career in children’s educational publishing. In 2013, a mere two years shy of her 40th birthday, Roces decided to tackle her lifelong dream of writing fiction.
