Edmunds.com Names Acura the Best Retained Value Brand
At this rate, the Acura offices are going to need to build a whole separate room to serve as their trophy case, as 2014 has been nothing but award after award for them. Wisconsin Acura Dealers are proud to announce that not only did Acura win the Best Retained Value Brand Award, but the 2014 ILX took home the best retained value for its class as well.
These annual awards from Edmunds are an incredible honor, but it is far from the only Acura success worth mentioning. Indeed, while the ILX may be taking home some high awards in the sedan class, the Acura crossover options are selling better and better. The 2014 MDX has seen a sales growth of 115.6 percent over the last year with May sales of over 5,900 units. And the popular small crossover RDX found homes with 4,299 drivers this past May.
“This recognition from Edmunds.com speaks to the strength of the Acura brand in offering customers outstanding luxury, performance, quality, and value on a luxury scale,” said Mike Accavitti, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Acura Division. It shows that Acura is delivering class-leading products that are exciting to drive and smart to own.”
While it looks as though the Acura brand won't need any help keeping its lead over the competition, it's going to have some this coming fall with the release of the 2015 TLX. This replacement for the TL and TSX will not only match their capabilities but go above and beyond them to become one of the most successful sport sedans on the market.
