Noted educator Gary Marx to speak at World Affairs Council – Washington, DC

 
WASHINGTON - June 25, 2014 - PRLog -- Gary Marx, President of the Center for Public Outreach, will discuss his book at a World Affairs Council – Washington, DC public program on Thursday, June 26 at 6:30 PM at the University of California Washington Center.

“Twenty-One Trends for the 21st Century” is a guide for educators on how to prepare tomorrow’s leaders for the global trends that are reshaping society. Marx’s trends include sustainability, identity and privacy, and polarization.

This public policy event is free and open to the public. It will take the format of a traditional WAC-DC Author Series with a lecture followed by an audience question-and-answer period. A modest wine and cheese reception will follow the program.

“Twenty-One Trends” is in line with the Council’s mission is to expand awareness among the American public about geo-political, business, and civil society issues in our inter-connected world.
