Our vision is to have the world recognize the value of organizing and turn to NAPO as the leading organizing authority. Our mission is to develop, lead, and promote professional organizers and the organizing industry. After numerous informal chapter meetings involving just five Professional Organizers throughout 2003, the requirements to become an official chapter were met in September 2003. The NAPO board of directors voted NAPO-NC as the 18th official chapter of NAPO. While the chapter is official, the board and its members are working diligently to continue to build the foundation. The board is more than pleased with the progress and growth of the chapter. We became a chapter of thirty-five members in just under a year. End
