CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - June 24, 2014 - PRLog -- In only six days, CRS organically grows its Cancer Patient Empowerment Campaign on Facebook and the www.cancerresearchsimplified.org website by reaching an audience of 21,975 from around the globe representing multiple languages - English, Turkish, German, Afrikaans, and Spanish. The campaign started unadvertised on June 2, 2014.

New Cancer Patient Empowerment Campaign:

“I’m helping to make empowerment against cancer a reality for my loved one…… !”

A new age, leading edge appeal for those who want to support their loved ones, currently suffering from cancer is taking place globally on the Cancer Research Simplified (CRS)‘s Facebook page. People are taking advantage of Cancer Research Simplified’s offer for the world to voice its request to empower people, through knowledge, care and understanding.  Healthcare workers, researchers, doctors, patients, survivors and loved see that a better way to learn and act about cancer is only a click away: www.cancerresearchsimplified.org.

“When someone learns that he or she has cancer, the first reaction is panic”, says Dr. Sahin, CEO and Founder of CRS. CRS empowers the patient and loved ones to learn what type of cancer it is, how it acts, and what the prognosis of the disease is - all explained in an easy to understand manner and in multiple languages. This empowerment helps patients and loved ones to live better with cancer and work together with their medical team for a better treatment. In addition to giving guidance to cancer centers and hospitals around the globe, focusing on specific cancer types and treatment techniques including healthy diet, lifestyle, and exercise changes that relieve stress, are important topics discussed in CRS’ 45 videos available 24/7/365 on CRS’ website, on its Youtube channel (www.Youtube.com/user/CancerResSimplified), and Thursday mornings at 9:00 AM on Channel 3.

“Our new campaign is an extension of our mission which we strongly stand behind: Empowering cancer patients through education, and bringing patients and their medical and scientific team together for an efficient treatment plan and better outcome”, said Dr. Sahin. “We’re thrilled to see overwhelming participation from around the globe, even though their notes were often heartbreaking.”

Join CRS-and the world-by posting “I’m helping to make empowerment against cancer a reality for  [fill in the blank with the patient’s name along with city and country]” and by adding your selfie to CRS’ Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, or Instagram pages using the #empowermentagainstcancer hashtag or via email info@cancerresearchsimplified.org TODAY! Signs in English, German, Turkish, Afrikaans, and Spanish are available on our blogs http://www.cancerresearchsimplified.org/blog. More languages will be offered soon.
