Star 1 Records Inks a Promotional Alliance with Viacom

SUNNYVALE, Calif. - June 24, 2014 - PRLog -- In an agreement signed by Laura Patterson, founder and CEO of Star 1 Records LLC. & Star One Entertainment Group, both parties have agreed to conduct the online promotion of  Star 1 Records artists music and videos on Viacom's websites making them available to their millions of subscribers worldwide. In addition, fans will be able to purchase both the artists music and videos directly from Viacom's websites.


In a statement released earlier today, Laura Patterson shared details of this strategic alliance with Viacom and Star One Entertainment's plans for the future...

"The future of music delivery is in streaming media as it shifts from the download purchase to the subscription model. It is important for labels to realize that the promotion of their artists and the distribution of their music must follow this path. We were pleased that we were able to take a major step in that direction with this agreement with Viacom. We are now going to focus on presenting our artists to Viacom's programming directors for broadcast consideration on CMT, MTV and VH1 networks. This was an important step in that direction."

The artists included in this agreement are, Nick Nichols, Eddy Faulkner, Janey Kirk, Justin Willis, Luna Reklipse, SUSA and Tony Watson.
