Central Coast College will launch its Veterinary Assistant Program beginning July 7th. In partnership with the SPCA, Central Coast College will provide in-depth instruction in the behavior, care and treatment of animals to prepare students for a career in the Veterinary field. The Veterinary community has come together to support this program. In addition to the SPCA, supporters include: Animal Control Bureau, Animal Friends Rescue Project, Parkview Veterinarian Hospital, Romie Lane Pet Hospital, Harden Veterinarian Hospital, Salinas Animal Hospital, VCA San Martin, Animal Health Center Salinas and Steinbeck Equine Center · Enrollment begins May 1 · Classes begin July 7th · For more information or to enroll go to www.centralcoastcollege.edu (http://l.facebook.com/ · For every student that enrolls in Central Coast College throughout the month of June, a $30 donation will be made in the student’s name to the SPCA of Monterey County in honor of the launch of the college’s new Veterinary Assistant Program.
