CRYSTAL, Chell Stephen Cursed with a real crumby attitude and a boring hometown, 17-year-old Crystal relies on her passion for dance to escape the mundane life of rural Ontario and pursue her out-sized dream of being a pop superstar. LOVE STINKS, Leanna Adams Cindy must flee her boyfriend Norman's apartment after an embarrassing mishap. Norman is left to confront Windy and his own judgmental outlook. THE BLACK BOTTOM LINE, Marti Covington One of the last thriving affiliates of a national organization founded by Booker T. Washington in 1900 discovers more about its legacy. CINEPHILIA, Leah Chen Baker Cinephilia is a series of boy-meets-girl shirt films that explores tthe romanticism of classical cinema from the 1890s through the 1960s. SO YOU'VE GROWN ATTACHED, Kate Tsang An offbeat comedy about an ex, an imaginary friend who is forced to consider retirement when his creator, Izzy, starts to grow up. SEVEN-MINUTE WALDEN, Ruth Dusseault This experimental film is a contemporary meditation on the historic American text to Walden; or, Life in the Woods (1854), composed of footage from modern day attempts to attain similar enlightenment.
