Repstor Announces Repstor affinity with new multi repository Support
Leading ECM Adoption specialist, Repstor today announced a significant expansion of its multi repository support within the flagship product Repstor affinity. Now in addition to support for SharePoint, OneDrive and file shares, Repstor affinity includes support for HP® WorkSite® and HP Records Manager/Trim®
Repstor is showcasing the new repository support at the AIIM Forum in London on the 25th June. This new repository support allows users of HP WorkSite (version 8.2 and later) and HP Records Manager / HP Trim (version 7.1 and later) to get full on and off-line access to their content system, and view, add and update content through the familiar interface of Microsoft Outlook. The new repository support also makes it easy to copy and move documents between different content systems through drag and drop.
Driving User Adoption of Content Systems
User adoption of content systems is about removing user barriers to accessing those systems. By providing access through the familiar interface of Outlook, without impacting Outlook speed or usability, affinity makes it easy for users to add, edit and update their content. Affinity makes content work like email in Outlook - it is available on and off-line, and synchronization is done in the background so users are not impacted by network availability.
Multiple Repository Support
Many organizations have multiple content systems – a combination of legacy systems, departmental systems, file shares and perhaps a current strategic ECM system. These systems add to the complexity and confusion that end users need to deal with in getting access to the content they need to complete their jobs. By supporting multiple ECM repositories, Repstor affinity can make content systems easily accessible to all users. This avoids the need for a complicated migration from older systems, but also allows department content systems to be used in combination with enterprise wide systems. By providing a consistent interface for accessing these systems, Repstor affinity avoids users having to learn new interfaces. Users can file and access content on the most appropriate system, and, if permissions allow, users can move content easily between systems through drag and drop. Legacy systems can be put in a read-only mode to help with an incremental migration.
Repstor and KPMG AG working together
The organizations Repstor works with often have complex ECM requirements – combining old and new systems, with users who need to access both. The ECM Advisory service of KPMG AG is working with Repstor to help these organizations provide access to all their content systems easily through one familiar interface.

Repstor’s products make access to content systems easy and intuitive for users, by providing access to them within the familiar interface of Microsoft® Outlook®. By making access to the content system easy and intuitive for users, we overcome the main cause of failed deployments of ECM systems – failure of users to adopt the system.
Our products are ideal for mobile, remote and semi-disconnected users especially in industries like Professional Services, Legal, Oil and Gas, Public Sector and other regulated industries. We significantly reduce change management costs when rolling out systems, improve ROI for existing systems, and fully support Microsoft Office365.
