DENTON, Texas - June 21, 2014 - PRLog -- Getting the “…buts…” out of Party Girl!

DENTON, TX - Bj Lewis, creator of the Party Girl Web Series and the cast and crew are in the midst of a fundraising drive to help improve the quality of the show.

The show is in Day 3 of a gofundme.com campaign, www.gofundme.com/PartyGirlWebSeries to raise funds to get the “…buts...” out of Party Girl. Since the debuted online it has been seen on www.taurianfilms.com and a host of other hosting and streaming sites including www.webserieschannel.com, the UnlockTV Channel on Roku to name a few. Reviews have been positive but in the reviews viewers point to audio among other things that show can fix to improve.

“The show is good, but…” they seem to say.

Bj and his cast and crew want to change that, want to improve and get the “…buts…” out of Party Girl!

Party Girl is shot and produced in Denton, TX by Bj. The show has been maintained on a low, practically no-budget. Even with that budget figure in mind Bj has been able to lure a ton of amazing talent from all over north and central Texas, who have grown to love the concept, story and character Bj has been developing and dreaming of bringing to life since he was 15.

The show stars Jeanne Lampley in the title role of Party Girl. Party Girl is really Rachel Buchanan, a young girl trying to find her way in life and the person she wants to be. To do that, she dons a mask and creates a super hero identity. She soon learns things are a lot more complicated and dangerous than she could ever imagine.

-Jacob Drum as Benton Alridge, former fellow student turned arch-enemy of Rachel.

-Giovannie Cruz in the dual role of twin sisters, Red Rose and White Rose.

-DJ Economou as Edward Buchanan, loyal family man.

-Jenni Mabrey as Evelyn Buchanan, the bitter mom who drives Rachel toward the mask.

-Ada Perez as Rachel’s best friend who is dealing with her own demons as well as her best friend slipping away.

-Alan Chow as the villainous Grasshopper.
