Recently, a new version – V8 – is launching with new chipsets from both Osram and Lumileds, which will render all-round higher brightness, better performance and more vibrant colors.

Utilizing Osram Opto Semiconductor’s Oslon Square that launched last December, ALT is coming out with new products that will have even better heat dissipation, stable color uniformity and a longer lamp life at higher temperatures. With Lumileds’ Luxeon Tx chips, the MR16 would be optimized for extreme efficacy and feature excellent color consistency.

ALTLED products are already known for the ability to withstand high heat even in boiling water due to ALT’s patented heat sink Glacier Edge™ technology. Now with the improved temperature behavior of Oslon Square’s chip, ALTLED will have an even greater advantage with product lifespan and luminous efficacy. The chips have color temperature ranging between 2,400 and 5,000K with CRI over 80 and typical brightness at 202 lumens, allowing suitability for interior lighting. The LUXEON Tx offers consistent and beautifully saturated colors while producing an astonishing lumen output at 850lm.
