92 Poor & Physically Challenged Couples Tied the Wedding Knot By Narayan Seva Sansthan

UDAIPUR, India - June 19, 2014 - PRLog -- Udaipur, Rajasthan, India, 18 June, 2014.  Narayan Seva Sansthan, Udaipur organised Free of Cost mass wedding ceremony for poor and physically challenged couples at Ramlila Maidan, New Delhi

Recently 92 poor and physically challenged (http://www.narayanseva.org/donation/treatment-of-polio-at-a-glance.html) couples got married as a free mass wedding ceremony was organized by NGO Narayan Seva Sansthan at Ramlila Maidan Ground, New Delhi. They physically challenged couples of all religion came from different parts of India to take their Vows at a wedding ceremony allowed the couples , including Hindus, Musilms, Christians and Sikhs to participate in a  ceremony held in accordance with their religious and  rituals

For the first time in Delhi, a mass wedding for disabled couples, most suffering from polio, tied the knot amid much fanfare and celebration. The couples were lined upon a massive stage while traditional music blasted and flower petals rained on them. Many of the couples hobbled or walked to the stage on crutches, but all looked determined to complete the ceremony and become, as they say, “support to each other”.

President of Narayan Seva Sansthan Mr. Prashant Agarwal Stated “ 92 young disabled and poor brides & bridegrooms promised to support each other throughout their life. The historical Ramliila Ground of Delhi became the witness of this mega event.

The NGO provides a registration service where people apply and meet with prospective spouse who also suffer from disabilities. The organization has been hosting mass weddings in Udaipur since 2004 and has helped 890 couples tie the knot. The NGO also provided the couples. ‘Narayan Sewa Sansthan’, Udaipur one of the top NGOs in India (http://www.narayanseva.org/) is engaged since last 29 years in ‘Free of Cost’ corrective surgeries and rehabilitation of patients suffering from polio (by birth) and in providing education and vocational training facilities to the deaf & dumb, blind and mentally retarded children. Many eminent persons participated in event and offered ‘Kanyadan’ as guardians. “Lam lightening” and ‘Ganesh Stuti’ was done by the Founder & Chairman of Narayan Seva Sansthan “Padamshree Kailash Manav”, “President of Sansthan Shri Prashant Agarwal”, on the big stage in Ramlila Maidan.

Narayan Seva Sansthan aims is to provide polio treatment, education and vocational training to the disabled.
