| Actor Brad James To Attend The American Black Film Festival For Premiere Of Comeback DadStarring Brad James, Charles S. Dutton, Tatyana Ali and Loretta Devine
By: House of Brands Comeback Dad is a drama circling around the story of a father-daughter reunion, starring Charles S. Dutton (Rudy, “Roc”), Tatyana Ali (“Love That Girl!,” “The Fresh Price of Bel-Air”) and Brad James (UP’s Marry Me For Christmas, “For Better or Worse”) with Loretta Devine (UP’s Saving Westwood High, “Grey’s Anatomy”). The movie is directed and executive produced by nationally-syndicated radio host/writer/ While in New York, Brad will be greeting fans and doing a series of press interviews. He will also do a live table read at ABFF from the top three UP Faith & Family Screenplay finalist for 2014 that will be performed live by celebrities and finalists from ABFF’s Star Project Acting Competition. A Grand Prize winner will be announced and selected to receive $5,000 during the “ABFF Honors” Awards presentation. The table read will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Friday, June 20th in the SVA Theatre. Brad is a rising star who has been seen in many films and television series’ such as CW’s VampireDiaries and OneTreeHill, and Vh1’s hit series SingleLadies. He has also been in films like, ParentalGuidance, Prisoners and 4 Minutes. ABFF is an independent film festival focusing primarily on works by black members of the film industry. It is one of the nation’s most prominent film festivals and Brad is excited to be attending and promoting the new movie. ABFF will be having a screening of the movie during the festival’s Saturday events followed by a Q&A with Brad and the rest of the cast. The festival will be June 20th through June 22nd.
