Non profit organization to perform classic Motown hits for fundraiser

INDIANAPOLIS - June 17, 2014 - PRLog -- The Cupboard Inc. is pleased to announce the reschedling of the highly anticipated kickoff of its season with a new live show, “Motown & Beyond.” The one night only show will now  take place June 29 at Kiwanis International Theater, located at 3626 Woodview Trace near the Pyramids.  Performers from past shows of the organization will perform classic Motown hits and reprise old time favorites.

The Cupboard Inc. recently ended its Indianapolis run of Oprah Winfrey’s The Color Purple and is currently preparing to tour the show. “Motown & Beyond” will be one of two shows the organization plans to do before kicking off The Color Purple tour in August.

“We are very excited about this show and strongly believe the audience and community as a whole will love this show. When you have a group of talented singers performing classic hits, it will be a great time.” said Joyce Licorish, president of The Cupboard Inc.
