DELHI, India - June 17, 2014 - PRLog -- New Delhi.  With the aim to motivate the youth and get the game greater exposure, the Wave Group teamed up with the Hockey India League (HIL) and Mata Bhagwati Chadha Niketan (MBCN) (http://www.mbcnschool.org), a charity-driven special education establishment, on the eve of an important hockey India league fixture.

The event was graced by Sardara Singh and other eminent names in the world of hockey who complimented the gesture initiated by Monty Chadha, Vice Chairman of the Wave Group of companies, by mingling freely with MBCN students, and even sharing a few tricks of the trade.

Among the ones to laud the special children for their sporting instinct were the Delhi Waveriders’ players, all buoyed up by the exuberance in the air. Some were spotted sharing lighter moments around; a few even went on to talking finer points of the game with the crowd.

The delighted children swayed with pleasure to the camera with their favourite idols by the side. The atmosphere truly defined a sense of euphoria for the kids who could not hold back breaking away in smiles and giggles. The atmosphere got all the more buoyant when players took the field showcasing the game at its best.

This is when the event really took off, getting boisterous every time the ball exchanged control between opposing players. Every attacking move met with a rousing eruption, every goal simply had everyone jump out in excitement. It was an evening where rising levels matched off every move on the ground; when coloured faces defined the order of the day.

Finally, the felicitation at the end of the friendly fixture added another dimension to an evening of fun and gaiety. It also gave the students a chance to catch up with the players again, probably reminiscing the events of the day and picking key nuances of the game from the best at the job.

By the time the children walked out, they had made sure the evening turned out to be one worth remembering. By then, a palpable sense of gratification had already taken over all around.
