Helen Davidov of Team TAG wins nominations and awards for her philanthropy work

Administrative and Recruiting Consultant, Helen Davidova, is nominated for the LABJ Women Making a Difference Award and won the National Council of Jewish Women’s Emerging Leader Award.

June 16, 2014 - PRLog -- This past May, Team TAG’s very own Administrative and Recruiting Consultant, Helen Davidov, was awarded with numerous philanthropy and leadership awards.  Helen was recognized as a nominee for the Los Angeles Business Journals Women Making a Difference Award for her philanthropy work.  There was a luncheon held at the J.W. Marriot at LA Live, which included a half-day symposium with a breakfast, guest speakers, and awards luncheon.  The LABJ Women Making a Difference Award recognizes women making strides in both business and philanthropy.

Helen also received the National Council of Jewish Women’s Emerging Leader Award and a special recognition for her volunteer services.  As a member of the Women Helping Women committee, Helen serves on NCJWLA’s Talk Line.  Helen, along with a group of volunteers, help Individuals who call the WHW Counseling Talkline with complex and often devastating problems, such as: anxiety, depression, domestic violence and other traumas, employment issues, family and parenting concerns, grief and loss, health and mental health concerns, isolation, rape and sexual abuse, relationship issues, stress, and many more.  The calm, reassuring voice of one of our trained paraprofessional volunteer counselors is on the other end of the phone to listen, support and empower callers to express their feelings, explore their concerns, and identify ways to cope.  Mental health professionals support volunteers in effectively assisting callers and providing appropriate resources to help them manage the challenges in their lives.

Helen was installed this June as the NCJW New Director of Development.   She is responsible for fundraising and friendraising to support all the amazing programs NCJWLA provides. She is also in charge of bringing in new volunteers that can give anything from an hour a month to 1 day a week.

Helen has been a great example of an accomplished business woman, philanthropist, wife, mother and mentor for many at Team TAG.  We at Team TAG are proud of all her accomplishments and appreciate her for adding value to the team in many different ways!
