SACAC offers a PG Diploma course in Creative Documentary (Filmmaking)
Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts & Communication, New Delhi offers a post graduate diploma course in Creative Documentary. The admission for this course is now open and the classes are scheduled to commence in November this year.
The Creative Documentary Filmmaking course stimulates students to engage thoroughly and with full enjoyment of each part of the practice of filmmaking. Camera, sound, editing, ideation, research, script and direction—all aspects of filmmaking will be dealt with in detail through practical exercises and theoretical engagement. While the course will provide the students with a strong grounding in film craft, it seeks to break down the walls between creative and technical, theory and practice, form and content. The students will be encouraged to unearth and understand the links between these, and begin their journey as filmmakers who are open to exploration and experimentation.
