-- In this Week in Sports Man Of The Hour discusses Marshawn Lynch considering retirement from the Seattle Seahawks.
A rumor has surfaced this week that Marshawn Lynch told two of his teammates last year that he would consider retiring from the Seattle Seahawks if the team won Super Bowl XLVIII. So Lynch really considered retirement, or is he just bluffing to leverage the new contract he is seeking from Seattle?
A report released by the NFL Media on Thursday, June 12, said that Lynch has been seeking a new contract. The Seahawks are reportedly aren't happy with Lynch's request, and don't seem apt to give him a new contract. It looks doubtfull that Lynch will attend minicamp next week. It was also reported by Yahoo! Sports last Wednesday that the Seahawks don't expect him to show up to mandatory work next week either, which could result in a $70,000 fine for Lynch.
