Author Sharon E. Cathcart Enters New Retail Partnership

SAN JOSE, Calif. - June 15, 2014 - PRLog -- Internationally published author Sharon E. Cathcart has entered into a new retail partnership with a local store, Discover San Jose, 150 South 1st Street, Suite 103, San Jose, Calif.

Three of Cathcart's titles, In The Eye of The Beholder, In The Eye of The Storm, and Brief Interludes, are available in the shop, whose focus is on local authors, artisans and artists.

"I am thrilled by the opportunity to have my work in a store of this caliber," Cathcart said.  "The emphasis on local talent makes it particularly special for me.  I'm a great believer in shopping at small, independent businesses whenever possible; this partnership fits right into that philosophy."

Cathcart has called the Silicon Valley home for more than a decade.  Having a presence in a local book store was one of her goals as an author.

While her first book, Born of War ... Dedicated to Peace, was published in 1995, Cathcart did not publish another book until 2009, when England's Turner Maxwell selected In The Eye of The Beholder as part of their catalog.  In the subsequent years, Cathcart has written 12 more books and contributed chapters or forewords to eight more.
