Third World Living Conditions At Orlando Florida Condominium: A Humanitarian Crisis

ORLANDO, Fla. - June 13, 2014 - PRLog -- Please watch this video, it is a telling story of the horrible living conditions faced by some of Orlando, Florida residents. No family should have to suffer like this. Enough is enough.

Tymber Skan face structural problems that will not be solved by just demolishing buildings. Though the County’s offer to help by demolishing some of the units is genuine, it does not go far enough.   According to the complex management the following structural conditions exit.

An inability to collect adequate condo fees and assessments from owners to fully cover maintenance cost, like site upkeep and its’ Orlando Utility Commission bills. They have a monthly short fall of $2,000 plus dollars on OUC bill payments along. OUC issues one bill to the Condo Association and refuse to do single unit billing.

Tenants or renters who don’t pay any condo assessments or rents.

A history of crime and poor protection from law enforcement.

At one time this condo had three separate condo associations plus complicated state laws that made it difficult for county government to step in and help.  Because of the ongoing problems the state has placed them under a receivership.  The receiver has more authority to fix the problems.

We should support him by helping to solve the structural problems with improvements in law enforcement, creating single OUC billing assigned to individual condos, so people can pay their own bills and provide a one-time secured cash infusion of $50,000 to a $100,000 for legal fees and security.

Tymber Skan once a proud gated community can be restored to it's prior grander.  Let’s work to bring it back.

Tearing down buildings leaving empty concrete pads want solve structural problems that have taken years to develop.
