Career Step Streamlines Training through Consolidated Partnership with Maricopa Corporate College

Career Step has transitioned its Maricopa Community College District workforce development training to Maricopa Corporate College to make the Career Step programs more widely available to residents across the entire district.

PROVO, Utah - June 13, 2014 - PRLog -- Career Step, an online provider of career focused education and corporate training, has transitioned its Maricopa Community College District workforce development training to Maricopa Corporate College. These training efforts were previously split between six community colleges throughout the region, and the transition to working with Maricopa Corporate Colleges makes the Career Step programs more widely available to residents across the entire district.

“Our goal is always to help students improve their lives through education, and this partnership makes it easier for students all across the Maricopa Community College District to do that,” said Ryan Ewer, Career Step Vice President of Enrollments and Marketing. “We work primarily with non-traditional students who are often managing school along with significant work and family responsibilities. Transitioning our relationship to Maricopa Corporate College makes it easier for these students to manage their school experience and gives them better access to all of the online training programs.”

Career Step’s partnership with Maricopa Corporate College makes its online career training programs available to students in the Maricopa Community College District. The available online training programs prepare students for in-demand careers in healthcare, technology and administration such as medical coding and billing, computer technician and medical administrative assisting, among others. All of the online training programs available through Maricopa Corporate College and Career Step prepare students for an in-demand field and can be completed in a year or less at the student’s pace and on their schedule because of the programs’ online format.

“The Career Step programs provide high demand training,” said Brianna Bendotti, Vice President of Workforce Solutions at Maricopa Corporate College. “We are excited to consolidate these offerings under Maricopa Corporate College and offer the programs on a wide scale to the Phoenix Metropolitan area.”
