By: 500,000 Children Project

June 13, 2014 - PRLog -- June 7, 2014 - The 500,000 Children Project, which aims to distribute their two books to over 500,000 schoolchildren nationwide for free, has launched an IndieGoGo campaign. Through the campaign, The 500,000 Children Project hopes to raise $50,000 to help their vision spring to life.

Their two published books, Aim For The Stars! The Goals Book for Kids and Goals Are For Gals & Goals Are For Guys, are centered around helping children learn the valuable skill of goal setting. A critical skill for success, goal setting is implemented by entrepreneurs, CEOs, musicians, and athletes. To help children thrive, The 500,000 Children Project hopes to instill goal setting at a young age. By teaching children how to set and achieve goals, The 500,000 Children Project hopes to help brighten the future of kids across the nation.

The 500,000 Children Project’s books, which are illustrated with colorful imagery and goal setting activities, are a great asset to schools with tight budgets. The IndieGoGo campaign will help assure that schoolchildren across the country receive copies of The 500,000 Children Project’s books. With the help of crowdfunders, The 500,000 Children Project aims to raise the funds by June 30, 2014. Each donor will receive exclusive perks, such as the ability to “adopt” a class, grade level, or school from their state or a signed copy of one of the books.

The 500,000 Children Project, which is a verified non-profit organization, seeks to gain start-up funds, publicity, and sponsors through their IndieGoGo campaign.
