Gospel for Asia Movie Director Kenny Saylors Visits Suffolk to Promote New Veil of Tears Documentary

SUFFOLK, Va. - June 11, 2014 - PRLog -- Today, Dr. Princella F. Johnson, Founding Pastor of The Master’s House, and Gospel for Asia Ambassador for the Women Reaching Women initiative announced that her church's missions department will be hosting a free movie screening of the Gospel for Asia documentary "Veil of Tears" directed and produced by Kenny & Kyle Saylors of Saylors Brother Entertainment, LTD.Mr. Kenny Saylors will be in Suffolk Friday evening, 6:30 pm at Brian & Wanda Rowe's Barn (Residential Area) 803 Cypress Road, Suffolk, VA 23434. Mr. Saylors will be signing autographs, DVDs and taking photos with attendees and aspiring youth film producers prior to the event.

The event is FREE and open to the public, but advance tickets must be obtained at http://www.eventbrite.com/o/jesus-princess-christian-womanhood-society-6687014717 . Ticket required for entrance.

The event will feature the movie, a director's Q&A and the unveiling of the church's newest mission outreach to women of India and Bangladesh through Jesus Princess Christian Womanhood Society, Worship Jesus Radio and the Gospel for Asia's Women Reaching Women Initiative. Veil of Tears chronicles the life cycle of women in South Asia from conception to death to highlight the immense gender-based suffering they face daily including dowry burnings, acid attacks, domestic violence, gang rapes and severe poverty.

"While attending the Christian Women in Media's National Conference in Dallas this April, I watched the movie for the first time, and I was absolutely horrified. The church must be at the forefront of a worldwide women's movement to bring aid to these women immediately," said Dr. Johnson.

"This screening is only step one in our part to raise awareness in our part of the world. As an ambassador for Gospel for Asia, I will be spearheading many more projects in the coming months," she said. Johnson also noted that if local groups wanted to host a  free screening, she is available.
