Elia Nuqul Foundation Partners with Better Business to Strengthen its Graduates Leadership Skills
The Elia Nuqul Foundation (ENF) has recently signed an agreement with Better Business by which the Foundation’s 2014 graduates will have the opportunity to attend a three-day training program entitled Qader to strengthen their leadership skills.
The program which is being organized for the first time aims at preparing ENF graduates for their successful entry into today’s workforce ensuring their success and stability amid current economic challenges.
The partnership offers graduates an extensive training program to help them develop leadership skills by boosting their self-confidence, enhancing their creative expression, promoting the culture of volunteerism and giving back to the community, and encouraging strong performance at work.
Commenting on the occasion, Ghassan Nuqul, the Vice Chairperson at the Elia Nuqul Foundation, stated: “We are greatly focused on facilitating opportunities for youth to complete their higher education as well as giving them sound career guidance. The Foundation prides itself partnering with leading companies to set up workshops and various other training programs that prepare students to successfully cope with today’s challenges.”
Mr. Nuqul went on to say: “We are confident that Jordan’s youth are not only fully capable of dealing with the current economic challenges, but are also able to make positive contributions for the future prosperity and success of our society.”
Co-founder and Chief Learning Officer at Better Business, Dr. Suhail Jouaneh, said: “We admire ENF’s efforts in enhancing youth’s leadership skills which will help them in better serving their society. The curriculum introduced during the Qader program will further help qualify youth to perform in a highly competitive market.”
The Elia Nuqul Foundation was established in 2008 by the Nuqul family as a philanthropic entity focusing on social development initiatives benefitting individuals and local communities within the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan through its three areas of interventions - the Elia Nuqul Scholarship Fund, the Community Service & Social Entrepreneurship Programs and Enhancement Program.
These Programs aim to encourage the development of Jordanian youth through access to higher education at universities, community colleges and vocational training facilities; providing life and professional skills training to produce well-rounded individuals, enhancing better employment opportunities, encouraging youth to think socially; and advocating in promoting the growth of a sound social entrepreneurship sector in Jordan.
