Vicki Lord shares styling secrets

June 10, 2014 - PRLog -- As a businesswoman and session stylist with 25 years experience styling celebrities' hair, brides' hair and working at shows and on TV, Vicki Lord has been writing for fashion, beauty and bridal magazines for a couple of years and has decided to dedicate some time inbetween her busy schedule to post regular tutorials and inspirational hair tips for website visitors and clients. Vicki says: "It is so easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of the schedule of a session stylist, and I do love it, but it is my clients that make it all happen and so I want to give them as many hair tips as possible, so I am putting more time in to my blog.”

City and Guilds training at the world-renowned Vidal Sassoon salon in Covent Garden, London. During her time there as assistant to the Art Director, she worked alongside some of the most highly respected stylists within the industry, as well as some superstar clients! Vicki left Sassoon’s to establish her own successful freelance business in London and the South East.

In 2005, seeking new challenges, she became a part-time Educator with leading hair extension company Balmain, where she taught the application of hair extensions and the dressing of long hair in salons and colleges throughout the UK.
