Auriga helps Eduserv achieve highest Pan Government Accreditation to offer Secure Cloud Service

June 9, 2014 - PRLog -- Auriga Consulting Ltd (Auriga), the expert data, ICT and security consultancy, today announced it has assisted Eduserv (http://www.eduserv.org.uk), the not-for-profit Cloud Services Provider (CSP), to achieve Pan Government Accreditation to Impact Level 3 (PGA IL3). The Auriga team provided advice on new and emerging government security compliance requirements, such as the Government Security Classifications Policy (GSCP (http://www.aurigaconsulting.com/gpms-gscp.php)), to help satisfy the criteria specified by PGA IL3. Eduserv is now one of a select few with the highest level of accreditation for Cloud (http://www.aurigaconsulting.com/cloud-consultancy.php) services.

Eduserv decided to seek PGA IL3 to address confidence in the Cloud in Government. A recent survey conducted by Eduserv among 800 civil servants revealed that 49 per cent of IT decision makers still have concerns over security in the cloud while 32 per cent said American National Security Agency (NSA) revelations have changed behaviour around cloud use. Eduserv is now able to offer hosting for Official Information Assets up to IL3 in addition to a range of full cloud migration services and hybrid cloud solutions which support a mix of on- and off-premise hosting, private and public cloud.
