The Insurance Forum Committee Announces This Year's Date

CHICAGO - June 8, 2014 - PRLog -- The Insurance Forum Committee announced that the event will be held this year on December 2nd.

This will be the 18th annual event, and is long considered as one of the most informative symposiums.

The Forum is a non-profit event.

It is an executive level program designed for insurance and risk management professionals, accountants, attorneys, corporate officers, and regulators.

There is no attendance fee.

Participants will learn about current issues, new solutions, and the latest developments in the regulation and operation of insurance companies. Attendees will obtain an increased understanding of the changes taking place in the insurance industry and the major legal, operational, accounting, and regulatory issues facing insurers and consumers of insurance.

The Forum Committee Chairman is Kenneth M. Weine.  Mr. Weine is the President of JVP Partners, Inc.

JVP provides insurance regulatory compliance consulting to regulators and insurance companies.

JVP has been at the center of developments in insurance regulation.  JVP advised the NAIC and state insurance departments on the creation of new requirements such as Risk-Focused Financial Examinations and insolvency matters.

JVP also assists insurers on financial, operational and compliance matters.

Mr. Weine is also the Chairman of, an organization that provides free risk management consulting to women and minority owned businesses.

Mr. Weine, prior to JVP, worked at State Farm Insurance Company, Protiviti, Navigant/Peterson/RWD, and Joint Venture Associates, where he assisted accounting firms including Arthur Andersen.
