The VW team, supported by Deutsch LA, covered an all-new 2015 Golf GTI in GoPro cameras that are capable of capturing incredible footage from unique angles. The result is “Turbo Charge Everyday", an interactive long form video set to debut on June 2, 2014. “People think that you need to take your car to the track to have fun, but the Golf GTI is a blast to drive even when carrying out everyday tasks,” said Tanner Foust.
In celebration of the Golf GTI launch, Volkswagen is giving away a GoPro HERO3+ Black Edition camera and mount to customers who purchase or lease the all-new 2015 Golf GTI by June 30, 2014. The camera will enable the lucky owner to capture their own, unique Golf GTI moments (on a closed course).

In addition to the Tanner Foust video, Volkswagen has teamed with Motor Trend to produce a series of videos starring professional drivers and automotive influencers. The multi-segment campaign will also take viewers behind-the-scenes with a special look at the creation and execution of these unique Golf GTI videos.

With an impressive list of professional drivers and shooting locations that range from the Redwood Forest and Santa Monica Beach to downtown Los Angeles, the video series highlights the incredible versatility of the original “hot hatch”. The first video is set to debut on June 4th, with the rest being released online throughout the month of June.
