Comma CMMS Announces Advanced New Feature: the Job Planner Module
Comma CMMS, a product of Parafernalia Ltd., has an advanced and powerful Job Planner Module designed to make it easier for maintenance professionals to plan their work.
“The Job planner module is an old dream that was under development for quite a long time as we fine tuned the flow of information inside the software to make it as powerful and resourceful as we could. It took time, but we truly believe that this new feature in comma CMMS substantially increases the value of comma CMMS as a true feature-full Computerized Maintenance Management System”. Said Rui Alves, comma Ltd founder and CEO.
The new module adds a broad range of new and powerful features:
View job timelines on a gantt chart
Edit dates, times and descriptions at any moment
Add job plan reports
Direct import of work orders
Allows for full print out of the job plan, including a time-line list of jobs with staff resources.
The new Job plan module is available on both the free and paid versions of comma CMMS. There may be some restrictions to its use in the future by free platform users, but those restrictions, although currently possible, have not been implemented. When asked for a date after which the restrictions are to be applied, Mr. Rui Alves replied: “the date is not yet defined so free account users should really be jumping on this opportunity. We will not be limiting accounts after they use the service”.
Mr. Rui Alves expects that the new feature will increase the user base even more above the 400 organizations currently using the system: “we have a large user based but always thought that the calendar plan was a big part of a CMMS that was missing from our product. With its inclusion, there will be a one less barrier for users to fully adopt the system as their main CMMS. Time will tell, but we're confident”.
