FCR Announces Expansion of Coos Bay Call Center
Expansion to add another 10,000 square feet to its current operations in Coos Bay and could bring an additional 140 jobs to the area.
FCR started construction in May at its location at 161 Anderson Ave. in Coos Bay. The plan is to expand from its current location into the former JC Penny building next door. The expansion will add another 10,000 square feet to its current operations in Coos Bay and could bring an additional 140 jobs to the area. The projected date of completion for the project is October 1, 2014.
“We are excited about this expansion and the opportunity to once again bring more good jobs to the Coos Bay area,” said Katheryn Carnahan, Chief Operating Officer of FCR. “Many of our clients that we serve work out of our Coos Bay location and those programs continue to grow every day. With that growth we must expand the call center operations to keep up with the demand. Rather than trying to put a center in a new location, we decided to make our Coos Bay center bigger and better. We have such a good relationship with the Coos Bay community. The people here are so friendly and they have such a great work ethic – exactly what we are looking for in our colleagues.”
