2014 International Festival Adds #1 Selling American Female Band TLC To The Line-up

WASHINGTON - June 4, 2014 - PRLog -- Washington, DC – Festival Productions, LLC just announced that they are adding TLC to their July 13th artist lineup for the 2014 International Festival.  TLC whose repertoire spans R&B, hip hop, soul, funk and new jack swing will close the festival Sunday night. TLC originally comprised singer Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, rapper Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes (Deceased) and singer Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas will only feature the remaining two band members.

Billboard magazine ranked TLC as one of the greatest musical trios. Between 1990 and 2002, the band had ten top ten singles, four number one singles, four multi-platinum albums, and won five Grammy Awards.  TLC has sold more than 23 million albums and 6.5 million singles in the United States alone.  Worldwide they have sold more than 65 million records and are ranked as the best-selling American female group of all time. In 2012, TLC ranked 12th on VH1's 100 Greatest Women in Music, and as the number-one all-girl group.

TLC will perform fan favorites like: "Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg", "Baby-Baby-Baby",  "What About Your Friends", "Creep", "Red Light Special",  "Diggin' on You", "Waterfalls", "No Scrubs" and "Unpretty".

In addition, Festival Productions, LLC will feature music and artists in Pop, Hip Hop, Latin, R&B, Caribbean, Gospel, and Alternative/Ethnic.   Other confirmed performing artists include: Ludacris, Estelle, Willie Colon, Third World, Miri Ben-Ari, Theophilus London, Sine Qua Non, Wayna, The Pedrito Martinez Band, Byron Cage, and others.

The Festival will also include a children’s carnival, DJ pavilion and international food vendors. This innovative blend of empowerment education and resources, arts, and entertainment is programmed and structured for the entire family.  Doors open at 12 noon both days. The festival is free from 12 pm to 3 pm EST. After 3 pm entry is $25 general admission and $100 VIP. The estimated two-day attendance is 75,000.
