LONG BEACH, Calif. - June 4, 2014 - PRLog -- Personal Chef Susi McMahan of Bread and Butter Personal Chef Service has won a full scholarship to the United States Personal Chef Association's national conference that will be held from July 17-20, 2014, in Long Beach, California, at the Renaissance Long Beach Hotel.

A USPCA member anonymously donated the amount for the conference registration to give a new chef who could not otherwise attend the chance to learn cooking techniques, increase their business knowledge, and network with fellow chefs. Personal chefs from around the world will be in attendance.

Chef Susi wrote an essay explaining why she is the most deserving member, and her essay was selected by the USPCA judges as the winner. Chef Susi has moved three times since starting her personal chef business in 2011, forcing her to restart her business in three different cities. She currently cooks in Patterson, California.

"To say that I’m excited about winning the scholarship to the USPCA 2014 national conference in Long Beach is a major understatement!,” said Chef Susi after learning about her win. “I’ve dreamed of attending since 2011 when I joined the USPCA. I feel honored to have won this amazing gift and to be given this opportunity to get to know others in my industry in such a setting. I plan to glean all that I can from the speakers, teachers, and fellow personal chefs at the conference and bring back home a renewed spirit and energy to take my business to the next level.”

The USPCA conference attracts some of the country’s best speakers who connect Personal Chefs to the business knowledge that underpins their business success. But more than the learning, this conference opens great doors of opportunity for everyone to meet new people that they might never meet under normal circumstances.

This year’s national conference will be held from July 17-20, 2014, at the Renaissance Long Beach Hotel in Long Beach California. The conference offers attendees a place to learn, network, refresh and connect before the participants return home with the motivation to take their businesses to higher levels.
