Boston Creative Agency, 36creative Gets Involved in Local Boston RAW Art Exhibit May 2nd, 2014

WINDHAM, N.H. - June 3, 2014 - PRLog -- Photographers, artists, designers, performance artists and others came together to forge a smashing representation of art that is being created in the studios, basements, salons and streets of the City on a Hill in the Local Boston RAW Art Exhibit on May 2nd, 2014. The Boston design community is well acquainted with Trent Sanders as the co-founder of 36creative who just keeps working until it is absolutely right – and as a lover of the avocado.

The Trent Sanders who became interested in painting when, as a photographer, he used it to concoct backgrounds for his photos is a less familiar fellow – an expressive one who exhibited 5 diverse paintings at the recent Local Boston RAW Art Exhibit. Sanders’ pieces shed light on what is hidden: striking green eyes stare out of a face of earthy beauty swollen with sullenness or immobility; an alluring female body twists in a pose with her hands above her head – we do not see her face. Sander exploration of painting as a medium has yielded some compelling early results.

The RAW Boston art movement is an international and independent arts organization that continues to writhe away from the coldness of the corporate world, staying true to its mandate that established artists should help out newer artists. Artists who are starting out in any medium, be it visual art, performance art, make-up artistry, independent film-making, hairstyling or other are invited to seek support in the community of RAW, throughout their first 10 years.

The Local RAW Boston Art Exhibit May 2nd, 2014, proved a vibrant context for Sanders to show his stuff: Works ranged from the intricate and fanciful illustrations of Katie Dabal to the soulful photography of Amber Elizabeth to the sexy and explosive make-up and hair designs of Lavish. Raw is all about cutting out the extraneous and letting the art sit alone; Sanders seems to have found his crowd.
