LOS ANGELES - June 2, 2014 - PRLog -- Award-winning director Terrisha Kearse has been tapped to helm “Locked In.” The psychological thriller dives into a high-stakes situation involving a stock broker who will lose everything if he can't figure out who wants him dead. Kearse's previous credits include independent drama “10-20” which won the HBO competition at the Martha Vineyard's African American Film Festival.

1 Bottle Entertainment, INC will be executive producing the thriller written by Matthew and Jimmy Nsubuga. The screenwriting duo from London, United Kingdom are brothers and have written many well-received screenplays including the Australian film, “Fearless Game.”

“I'm excited to be working on a thriller with so many layers,” Kearse reveals. “I look forward to bringing 'Locked In' to the screen.”

“Locked In” is currently in pre-production in Los Angeles, California.

The Florida native and LA transplant has enjoyed a career as a First AD (Assistant Director) on various film and music projects. She also enjoyed a position at "Regis and Kelly."

Kearse directed and co-wrote her first feature film entitled 10-20 (pronounced "10 to 20"), which won the HBO Best Feature Film Award at the 2009 Martha Vineyard's African American Film Festival (MVAAFF). The work was inspired by true life events from Kearse's past.
