Mynding My Own Bizness Entertainment's Film, The Bully, Wins At 3rd Annual TPFF
NEW YORK - June 2, 2014 - PRLog -- Mynding My Own Bizness™ Entertainment won it's first film festival this past weekend at The People's Film Festival (TPFF) 3rd annual film festival held this past weekend in Harlem. Their film, THE BULLY, took home the win for best film in the short category.

The Bully—shown this past Saturday at The People's Film Festival—tells the tale of a Muslim girl, “Erika”, who starts a new school and finds herself the victim of relentless bullying. In the resulting emotional turmoil, she finds allies and salvation in unexpected places. The Bully tackles not only the issues of bullying, but that of racism, religion and sexuality. It is a story of intolerance, but also a story of kindness, forgiveness, and redemption.

The film stars Staten Island teen actors, Charles Keppler and Sarah Altreche. The short film is based upon a single written by up and coming Staten Island recording artist/writer, Jiggy Jada, who makes her film debut, as well.

The film was Executive Produced by, Jacquelyn Wilson (Mynding My Own Bizness™ Entertainment), and Maurice Wilson (Black Moes Art Music Inc./NXT LVL Entertainment). Directed by director/producer Gerald Barclay of Gee Bee Productions. Production credit also goes to Staten Island's IlluminArt Productions, who were a great aid in the making of this film.
