Purpose Software Strengthens Board With New Non-Executive Appointment

HIGH WYCOMBE, U.K. - June 2, 2014 - PRLog -- Purpose Software, the UK’s leading supplier of service management software to document and print management solution providers, has strengthened its Board with the appointment of Robert Newry as Non-Executive Director.  In this role, he will be responsible for helping the company to develop its range of product and solutions to meet the evolving needs of users and maximise the opportunities to build additional market share, both in the UK and internationally.

Robert Newry has over 20 years’ experience of the industry and was co-founder of NewField IT, a UK-based provider of print consultancy and software solutions.  The company became a leading supplier of software solutions to speed up the deployment of managed print services and enable organisations to optimise and manage device layouts and overall print-related costs.  The company exported to over 15 countries and was acquired by Xerox in 2011.  Robert Newry has an MBA from Imperial College, London and has also served as a Board Member of the Managed Print Services Association.

Prior to this, Robert Newry held a number of senior level positions with Ricoh where, as Director – Operations for Ricoh UK, he transformed their back-office functions.  He was also Chief Operating Officer for Ricoh Hong Kong's US$70 million Direct Sales and Service business.
