PRLog -- True to the commitment in helping local communities become self-sufficient in times of conflict and natural disasters, Fourerr just recently supported a fundraising effort for the Act for Peace Ration Challenge. As social responsibility is at the heart of the Fourerr brand, donation has been made that will help pay for a refugee's food rations for an entire year in the conflict-stricken Thai-Burma border.
The movement is an act of alliance to confront injustice together across the world. Volunteers in this program will be sponsored so they can eat the same rations as a local living in a refugee camp. This will consist of a small ration of rice, salt, oil, flour, split peas, fish paste and water - without any meat, vegetables, coffee or alcohol. This act for a greater cause will run from the 15th to the 21st of June. Donations collected from sponsors will all proceed to helping these locals survive and become more self-reliant.
