August 12, 2013- Sci-fi, fantasy and horror connoisseur Curiosity Quills Press announces the signing of Jason King, author of Valcoria: Children of the Star.

The first publication by the press will be King’s most recent fantasy adventure, Lure of Fools, released as an e-book August 12, 2013 on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Kobo, with a printed format option coming soon..

This the warning main character Jekaran soon wishes he had taken heed to when he finds himself fighting lecherous thieves. His mission to rescue a captive beauty turns farm boy into fugitive, and finds him on a mission that could bring his death if he goes through with it, and the certain death of the human race if he doesn’t.

King has a tendency to create novels that seem so deeply entrenched in the fantasy realm, but somehow offer a fresh take on both trope and tale, with what bestselling author James Wymore describes as “breath-taking imagery and a pervasive magic system”.  For the reader that likes everything, the book offers fantasy, adventure, romance, an enigmatic plot, and the ever-present threat of danger.
