Attorney Bernard Walsh Comments On SCOTUS Consideration Of Warrantless Phone Searches

BRADENTON, Fla. - May 30, 2014 - PRLog -- Chief among the questions to be debated is whether or not law enforcement has the right to perform a search of data on a cell phone with out a warrant.

Due to the realities of conditions on the ground, members of law enforcement are placed in a situation where they are motivated to review the cell phones of suspected criminals. However because of the personal nature of such phones many privacy advocates have raised alarms questioning whether such searches violate our constitutional rights.
