HSINCHU, Taiwan - May 29, 2014 - PRLog -- Bio Ma-tek Taiwan announces liquid state TEM imaging and characterization of inorganic, organic, and biological nanomaterials.

TEM imaging is performed in novel K-kit. It permits aggregation free observation of nanomaterials in native environment. After TEM imaging, accurate size and shape analysis is performed using in-house Support Vector Machine (SVM) based software.

TEM K-kit for Liquid State Imaging of Nanobiomaterials:-

Nanoparticles or nanoparticle-based formulations offer the advantage of efficient delivery to the target tissue for enhanced therapeutic or diagnostic purposes, which is usually related to their size, shape, surface properties, and aggregation/agglomeration states.Comprehensive physicochemical characterization of nanoparticles with respect to their size/size distribution, aggregation/agglomeration state, and shape in aqueous or physiological environments is important.

TEM K-kit for Liquid State Imaging of Abarasives in Chemical Mechanical Polishing (CMP) Slurry:

For the purpose of observing the primary and secondary abrasives in undiluted CMP slurry, a silicon-based microchip specimen (Nano-pipette) was designed, which can be used to sample and seal the undiluted CMP slurry in the native aqueous state for TEM observations. The Nano-pipette (K-kit) is designed successfully to prevent agglomeration/aggregation of abrasives.
