GlobalNurse4U Conducts a Series of Workshops on Trauma Care and Nursing Simulation

CHANDIGARH, India - May 29, 2014 - PRLog -- Chandigarh, India, May 2014–GlobalNurse4U (an INSCOL Academy initiative), through its team of instructors, continues to fulfill the mission of empowering Indian nurses  by imparting global best practices , through workshops and simulation-based training programmes in India .

INSCOL Academy invited  Prof. Kris Voycey , Faculty of Health Sciences, Georgian College , Canada , and also President, College of  Nurses of Ontario (CNO),  and Ms. Yvonne Galbraith , Nursing Simulation Specialist, Georgian College, Canada to conduct workshops on Trauma Care in nursing and and to demonstrate the Multimodal Approach to Nursing Simulation. The workshops were conducted at Chitkara University, Punjab, and at the San Jose College of Nursing , Kerala.

To understand trauma care in Indian hospitals , the faculty visited PGIMER (Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research), Chandigarh. They also visited Welcare Hospital, Kochi, and Global Hospital, Bangalore, during their visits to these cities.

A further round of workshops on Trauma Care and Nursing Simulation were conducted in Bangalore on the 20th and 21st of May, 2014 at Global Hospital and Manjushree College of Nursing. In all, GlobalNurse4U trained 300+ nurses in Chandigarh, Kochi and Bangalore at these workshops.
